Tues pm Sport: Kildare v Roscommon Tonight; Utd v Barca

Kildare footballers return to action this evening against Roscommon.

The game, in Robertstown GAA at 7.30, is part of the celebrations to mark the club’s Centenary year.

The round 1 fixtures for the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship.

Kildare play Wicklow on Tuesday 23rd April at 7pm in St. Conleth's Park.

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has been charged with misconduct in relation to The Football Association's betting rules.

It's alleged he placed 140 bets on football matches between August 2015 and January this year.

He has 10 days to respond to the charge.

In the Premier League, Cardiff City must get, at least, a draw against Brighton tonight to keep their hopes of survival intact.

Jonathan Sexton looks set to set to play for Leinster in Sunday's Heineken Champions Cup semi final with Toulouse.

The Ireland out-half hasn't played since Ireland's final Six Nations game away to Wales last month due to a quad injury.

Tadhg Furlong is also expected to be fit, having been taken off as a precaution during last week's win over Glasgow in the Pro 14.

Devin Toner and Robbie Henshaw both came through that game unscathed, while Stuart Lancaster is sure Sexton will be ready for Sunday's game at the Aviva having trained this week.

World lightweight champion Katie Taylor will box Belgian Delfine Persoon in a unification bout in New York on June 1st.
