Construction workers, who are members of Siptu, have voted for strike action in a row over pay.
They want employers to pay a 2.7 per cent increase due on the first of October.
Earlier this year, a stay was put on a High Court ruling that legislation in relation to sectoral pay awards was unconstitutional.
Siptu says this means existing pay agreements currently in place for construction workers, have the force of law and an increase due next month should be honoured.
