The Irish Farmers' Association is calling on the Agriculture Minister to call an urgent meeting of the Beef Market Taskforce.
It also wants to see the five major retailers and processors called in by Michael Creed, to hold them to account for their actions.
It says no price increase for beef came on Friday and there may be more blockades depending on the outcome of the meeting.
