Tuesday a.m. Update: Carroll Strikes for West Ham Draw & Keogh Cup Semi Final Walk-Over

: 04/17/2018 - 08:28

Andy Carroll's late strike gave West Ham a 1 all draw against Stoke City at the London Stadium last night.

Making his first appearance since January, Carroll came off the bench to score a 90th minute equaliser, which cancelled out Peter Crouch’s goal.

The result moves the Hammers seven points clear of the relegation zone, but leaves Stoke five points from safety with just four games remaining.

Bray Wanderers have turned up the pressure on Shamrock Rovers manager Stephen Bradley.

The Seagull's picked up their first win of the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division season with a 1-nil win at the Carlisle Grounds last night.

It is Rovers third defeat in a row.

Derry City are third on the table following a 3-1 win at home to 10-man Bohemians.

Waterford are down to fourth after a 1-nil defeat away to St. Patrick's Athletic.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has threatened to drop a number of his stars for Saturday's F-A Cup semi-final against Tottenham.

United handed Manchester City the Premier League title with their shock 1-nil defeat to bottom club West Brom on Sunday.

Mourinho criticised his players after the game, and says they must prove themselves at Bournemouth tomorrow.

Tottenham are away to Brighton in the Premier League tonight.

A win would boost Spurs hopes of finishing in second place, but manager Mauricio Pochettino admits he will rotate his team.
