Weds am Sport: Kildare v Roscommon Drawn; Barca beat Utd; City/Pool/Spurs in Quarter Finals Tonight

Manchester United are out of the Champions League.

Last night, Barcelona won the second leg of their quarter final 3-0 at the Nou Camp, progressing 4-0 over both legs.

Lionel Messi scored twice in the first 20 minutes, the second goal coming after a fumble by the United keeper David De Gea.

Brazilian Philippe Coutinho curled in the third goal in the second half.

Barcelona will meet Liverpool or Porto in the semi final.

Liverpool bring  a 2-0 lead from the first leg to Porto tonight.

In tonight's other second leg, Manchester City play Spurs at the Etihad Stadium.

Spurs have a 1-0 lead from the first leg.

Ajax await the winners in the semi finals.

Ajax bet Juventus 2 - 1 in Turin last night, winning 3-2 on aggregate.

Brighton have now lost 4 Premier League games in a row without scoring a goal.

Chris Hughton's side suffered a 2-0 defeat to third from bottom Cardiff City last night.

Cardiff are now just 2 points off Brighton in the battle to avoid relegation.

Kildare senior footballers and Roscommon drew in last night’s game to mark the 100th anniversary of Robertstown GAA.

Roscommon led by 2-6 to 0-9 at half time.

A last minute Roscommon levelled the match.  It finished Kildare 2-18 Roscommon 4-12.  

Paddy Brophy scored both Kildare goals.

Team captain Eoin Doyle limped off with a hamstring injury after 18 minutes
