Weds Lunch Sport: Champions League Quarter Finals Continue Tonight; Kildare v Roscommon Draw in Robertstown Football Challenge

Three English clubs in Champions League Quarter finals tonight.

The winners of  Liverpool vs Porto will play Barcelona in the semi final.

Liverpool bring  a 2-0 lead from the first leg to Porto tonight.

In tonight's other second leg, Manchester City play Spurs at the Etihad Stadium.

Spurs have a 1-0 lead from the first leg.

Ajax await the winners in the semi finals.

Kildare senior footballers and Roscommon drew in last night’s game to mark the 100th anniversary of Robertstown GAA.

Roscommon led by 2-6 to 0-9 at half time.

A last minute Roscommon levelled the match.  It finished Kildare 2-18 Roscommon 4-12.  

Paddy Brophy scored both Kildare goals.

Team captain Eoin Doyle limped off with a hamstring injury after 18 minutes

Israel Folau has requested a code of conduct hearing after having his contract terminated by Rugby Australia for making homophobic comments on social media.

The 73-cap international, who was expected to play at this year's World Cup, posted that "hell awaits for “drunks, homosexuals, adulterers, liars, fornicators, thieves, atheists and idolators.”.
