Listen: HSE Chief Says People Will Be Held To Account Over CervicalCheck Scandal...If Required.

The interim HSE Chief says individuals will be held accountable for failings in the Cervical Check programme if required.

The Public Accounts Committee, on which sits Kildare TD, Catherine Murphy, has heard from witnesses in its attempt to ascertain  who knew what, and when.

John Connaghon told the PAC this morning that lessons must be learned during the Scally Inquiry and from any subsequent inquiries.
