Saturday AM Sport: Local GAA Championships Continue Today & Racing Is From Cork and Tramore.

The Local GAA Club Championships continue today.

In the Joe Mallon Renault Senior Championship in St Conleth's Park:

Naas vs St. Laurence's at 1pm

Clane vs Athy at 2.15pm

Carbury vs Celbridge at 4.30pm

Round Towers vs Johnstownbridge 6:15pm

In the Pittman Traffic Intermediate Football Championship in Manguard Plus Hawkfield:

Sallins vs Suncroft at 1.45pm

Rathangan vs St Kevin's 3:15pm

In Rathcoffey it's Kilcullen v Kilcock 2pm, followed by the Junior game between Caragh and Ballymore Eustace at 5pm

Kill play Leixlip in Straffan at 4.30 while in the Senior Championship, Raheens play Confey at 6.30 in Ballyteague.

Clogherinkoe vs Ellistown and Milltown vs Allenwood are both postponed.

Yesterday evening in the Intermediate Championship, Monasterevin beat Ballyteague 2-11 to 1-10, while in the Junior Championship Robertstown defeated Rheban 3-15 to 2-12 and Castlemitchell were 1-11 to 0-9 winners over local rivals Grangenolvin.


Kilkenny and Tipperary have both named their sides for Sunday's All Ireland Hurling final at Croke Park.

The Kilkenny team shows just one change from their semi-final win over Limerick with Cillian Buckley replacing Richie Leahy in midfield.

Tipp are unchanged from the side that started their semi-final win over Wexford.
