
Kildare County Council is being asked to explore the opportunity to use space within existing library buildings to pilot creating and expanding co-working hubs across Kildare.
FG Councillor Kevin Duffy is bring forward this motion and advises that it will promote remote working, reduced the commuting trend.
Councillor Duffy also suggested that this would assist those with limited broadband availability and improve Kildare's communities work/life balance.
There are 15 libraries in Kildare at present.
