Early results suggest Jacinda Ardern is likely to win a second term in office in New Zealand.
Polls closed in the General Election there at 6am Irish time, with the first rounds of counting already underway.
Locals were also asked to vote in two referendums as well, one to legalise cannabis and one to allow terminally ill people the option of assisted death.
The vote was originally scheduled to take place in September, but was delayed due to the pandemic.
It's hoped that General Election ballots will be counted in full at around 10.30am Irish time.
