37% Of Consumers Ensure Easter Egg Packaging Is Recyclable.

: 04/18/2019 - 14:04

Irish people are expected to recycle enough packaging this Easter weekend to fill the Aviva Stadium twice.

Almost a third of people will buy eight eggs or more, but one in ten say they're not sure if they're recycling the packaging correctly.

According to a survey by Repak, 37 per cent of people say ensuring the packaging is recyclable is a high priority when buying an Easter egg.

However, 35 per cent would still buy their favourite egg even if there was too much packaging.
