Friday am Update: County Football Finals Weekend

Sunday is county football finals day.

County and Leinster champions Moorefield and Leinster Leader League winners Athy contest the Joe Mallon Renault senior football final in St. Conleth’s Park at 3.30.

Kfm will have commentary of Sunday’s final, with Ger McNally and former Kildare stars Peter McConnon and Johnny Doyle, in association with Hanlon Concrete, Robertstown.

We’ll, also have updates of the Manguard Plus Minor “A” Football final.  Clane, appearing in their 4th consecutive minor final, play Naas at 1.30pm

Dundalk will be presented with the SSE Airtricity Premier Division trophy tonight.

Sligo Rover come to Oriel Park.

Derry City's final home game of the season sees them at home to Cork City.

Bohemians go to Bray Wanderers,

Limerick host St. Pat's.

Shamrock Rovers play Waterford in Tallaght.

Padraig Harrington and Gavin Moynihan are among 60 golfers that need to complete their first rounds at the Andalucia Masters in Valderrama this morning.

Both men are level par, following a first day in Spain that saw delays due to inclement weather.

England's Ashley Chesters heads the field on 5-under.

Shane Lowry is nicely placed on 2-under par, after opening with a 69.
