Facial Recognition Technology Being Used On Cows In Ireland.

: 09/20/2019 - 16:02

Facial recognition technology is now being used on Irish cows.

Special cameras that are able to distinguish between individual cattle are being set up on some dairy farms.

It means farmers will be alerted if an animal is unwell or not eating properly.

Francis Kearney from VistaMilk says they have no privacy concerns.
