Access to several Instagram accounts promoting a rave to take place somewhere in Kildare or Dublin on St. Patrick's Day has been restricted.
The Irish Examiner reports Facebook took the decision over the weekend.
Organisers were planning on announcing the exact location 12 hours before the event.
Tickets for the rave, which would be held in breach of existing Level 5 Covid-19 restrictions, were being advertised online for €20 each.
Organisers had previously said over 400 tickets sold.
