There's been a reduction of a third in the number of people on trolleys at Naas General Hospital.
There were 34 people without beds at the Kildare facility; that's down to 23, today.
That figure is, however, higher than at 5 other hospitals in the Eastern Region today.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation reports that, nationwide, there are 465 patients on trolleys at the country's other main hospitals.
