Lunch Update: Day 9 World Cup 3 games; Listen: 4 Kildare Teams in Action This Weekend from Tonight; Kildare Hurling Team Named

Day 9 of the World Cup: Brazil and Costa Rica kick off at 1pm.

Following Argentina’s defeat last night, Pool D rivals Iceland will tighten their grip on second place in the Group by beating Nigeria in Volgograd at 4 o’clock.

Group E leaders Serbia could secure their place in the knock out stages by beating Switzerland in the 7 o’clock game.

 Kildare’s senior, junior and U20 football teams, along with the senior hurlers are all in championship action this weekend.

Beginning with the U20 footballers vs Carlow this evening at 7.30 in Netwatch Cullen Park
