
Teachers want smaller class groups, extra staff and more space in schools to counter any increased risk of Covid-19 due to the current high number of cases.
The findings are part of a survey of 1,500 members of the Teachers Union of Ireland on health and safety issues.
71 percent of respondents say the increased staff allocation as a result of the pandemic is not enough to meet requirements.
