Gardai are investigating the circumstances around an 'alleged event' at RTE earlier this week.
Several of the broadcaster's highest profile presenters were pictured breaching Covid-19 social distancing rules.
RTE said on Friday that it's staff were 'well intentioned' but it 'should not have happened.'
Meanwhile the Sunday Independent reports that the matter will also be examined by an Oireachtas Committee this week.
