Domestic violence services were contacted by more than 600 new women and 120 new children each month between September and December last year.
Safe Ireland's second 'Shadow Pandemic' report shows 2,018 women and 550 children per month were supported - a slight increase on the first six months of the pandemic.
More than 23,300 helpline calls were answered over the period, with November proving the busiest month for services.
