Former Celtic captain and manager Billy McNeill has died at the age of 79.

He lifted the European Cup when they beat Inter Milan in Lisbon in 1967.

He also captained the Hoops to nine successive titles, seven Scottish Cups and six League Cups.

Former Liverpool and England striker Robbie Fowler has been appointed head coach of Australian side Brisbane Roar.

He'll start his new role at the beginning of next season.
