A car has been impounded following a speed check on the N7 by Kildare Gardai.
The operation was conducted by Naas Roads Policing Unit at Kill.
The vehicle was detected at 152kph in a 100kph zone.
The car was pulled-over and it was subsequently found that the motorist was an unaccompanied learner, without L plates.
The vehicle has been seized and Gardai say proceedings are to follow.
