The Minister for Health will turn the sod on the €11 million Athy Primary Care Centre building today.
The facility is being constructed on the Dublin Road.
The build will house services including: public health nursing, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, dietetics, community network disability team, counselling and Child and Adolescent Mental Heath Services as well as a GP Practice and a pharmacy.
Tusla will also occupy significant space within the centre.
Simon Harris will turn the sod at 9.30am.
