Sunday AM Sport: Moorefield's Glavin To Join O'Connor Team & Club Championships Continue Today.

Moorefield manager, Ross Glavin will be part of Jack O'Connor's management team, if and when the Kerryman is confirmed Kildare senior manager at next month's county board meeting.

It's also believed that outgoing Cian O'Neill selector, former Westmeath and Laois Senior Manager, Clane's Tom Cribbin will also be part of the backroom team.

It's another busy day of local GAA Club Championship action.

In the Tom Cross JFC, Ballymore Eustace play Castlemitchell at midday in St Laurence's.

There's a triple header in St Conleth's Park. In the Pittman Traffic Intermediate Championship, Straffan play Nurney at 2pm and Kilcock take on Monasterevan at 5.30pm.

In Hawkfield, Kilcullen play Ballyteague at the same time.

The other game in St Conleth's Park is the Haven Hire SHC game between Naas and Eire Og/Corrachoill, while Leixlip play Ardclough in Celbridge.

Both games throw in at 3.45pm.

Yesterday in the Joe Mallon Renault SFC, Maynooth beat Castledermot 0-16 to 1-12, Sarsfields were 2-15 to 1-9 winners against Eadestown and Moorefield defeated Two Mile House 2-19 to 1-15.

There were also three Ladies championship finals played in Sallins yesterday. Raheens won the Junior C title, Kilcock were crowned Junior A Champions and Carbury won the Intermediate Championship.

There's three games in the Premier League today.

At 2, Bournemouth play Man City, while at 4.30 Spurs play Newcastle and Wolves take on Burnley.

Harry Kenny has stepped down as manager of St Patricks Athletic.

The Saints currently sit in 5th place in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division.

Gavin Moynihan is best of the Irish in a tie for 5th at the Scandinavian Masters.

The 24 year old is just 3 shots off the lead, held by South African Eric van Rooyen.

Dubliner Moynihan begins his final round just after 11.30am Irish time.
