
Prisons should be used as a last resort because of the level of isolation involved during the pandemic.
That's according to the Irish Penal Reform Trust, which is launching it's 4th annual report this afternoon.
It's also warned of the long hours spent in cells and limited access to fresh air and showers for some due to Covid-19.
