US: Over 5,000 National Guard Troops To Remain In Washington, Until Mid-March.

Over 5,000 National Guard troops will remain in Washington DC, until mid-March.

The US Army has confirmed the guards will be stationed there, amid concerns over potential political unrest.

Currently, there are 15,000 troops in the nation's capital city, that number is set to decrease to 7,000 by the end of January.

The troops were deployed in Washington DC following a Pro-Trump mob rioting in the city, & invading the US Capitol Building on 6th January.
