More than one million euro worth of drugs have been sezied at Dublin Port.
Yesterday, Revenue officers seized 55kgs of herbal cannabis and 2kgs of cannabis infused 'jelly sweets'.
The drugs have a combined estimated value of €1.2 million.
They were discovered with the assistance of detector dog James and Revenue's mobile X-ray scanner, concealed in suitcases that were stored in the driver's cab of a commercial vehicle,that arrived on a ferry from Holyhead.
A man in his 50's was arrested and investigations are ongoing.
