Ireland Seek Two Euro 2020 Qualifier Wins On The Trot Against Georgia Tonight.

: 03/26/2019 - 10:42

The Republic of Ireland can make it two wins out of two under Mick McCarthy by beating Georgia in this evening's Euro 2020 qualifier at the Aviva Stadium.

The Boys in Green have failed to win back to back matches since October 2017, but they have never lost to Georgia.

Shane Duffy scored an early goal when the sides drew 1 all in Dublin two years ago, but he could miss tonight's encounter.

The Brighton defender is a doubt due to an ankle injury.

Ireland will be looking to build on Saturday's less than convincing victory over Gilbratar.

Goalkeeper Darren Randolph is expecting a far tougher challenge.

Kick off is at 7.45pm

At the same time Ireland's Group D rivals Switzerland and Denmark meet in Basel.

It is the Danes first game of the campaign, Switzerland beat Georgia 2-nil in Tbilisi over the weekend.
