Kildare's Paul Mescal Wins GQ Breakthrough Actor Accolade.

Kildare's Paul Mescal has won the GQ Hugo Boss Breakthrough Actor Of The Year.

His break out role was in the award-winning Normal People made headlines after its release for the steamy sex scenes, which took up 41 minutes of screen time throughout the 12 episode series.

Independent.ie reports that  he is poised to star in Maggie Gyllenhaal’s directorial debut ‘The Lost Daughter’ alongside Olivia Colman and Dakota Johnson.
