The Minister of State at the Dept. of Dept says his department is "in ongoing communications with An Garda Síochána regarding" an illegal encampment on the Curragh.
Around 25 caravans arrived at Walsh's Hill after March 28th.
Several caravans left the site within the last week, gardai have seized three vehicles and notices have also been served on some people in relation to an alleged breach of Covid 19 regulations.
Minister Paul Kehoe, responding to a parliamentary question from Dublin Labour TD, Duncan Smith, says his department and its land management team are engaging with local gardai but "The Deputy will appreciate it would not be appropriate for me to comment on operational matters currently being addressed by An Garda Siochána."
