Irish Water has confirmed that the Boil Water Notice issued on 16th July for customers on the Rathangan Water Supply, has been lifted - with immediate effect.
The notice was issued as a precautionary measure, following issues with the disinfection process at the Water Treatment Plant, which led to inadequate chlorination of the public water supply.

We endeavoured to keep the public up to date at every stage and we are grateful to the media, elected representatives and members of the public who shared the information.
