'Orbital Reef' to be launched in second half of the decade

Blue Origin has revealed it is been working with Aerospace firm, Boeing, to create a commercial space station.

The company, which is owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, says they hope to launch 'Orbital Reef' in the second half of this decade.

It will be run as a "mixed use business park", with plans to provide the infrastructure needed to open new markets in space.

In a statement, the companies noted the station "will open the next chapter of human space exploration and development".

The proposed station "will provide anyone with the opportunity to establish their own address on orbit".
