Warning of worsening structural damage
Residents of a Florida apartment building that collapsed last week received a letter in April, warning of worsening structural damage.
Media outlets in the US, including The New York Times, report it was sent by the president of the block's building association.
It notes damage, which was first reported in 2018, had been getting significantly deteriorating.
County Mayor, Daniella Levine Cava, gave an update on the operation at the scene last night:
Tomorrow, US President Joe Biden will visit Miami to speak with families of those who died.
Two additional bodies have been found, bringing the death-toll to 12.
149 people are missing.
Authorities in Miami have pledged to carry out multiple investigations over the collapse of a high-rise apartment building that has left at least 12 people dead https://t.co/cAI3LwKP3S
