Hamas: Ceasefire Could Be Reached "Within A Day Or So"

A senior official from Palestinian militant group Hamas says a ceasefire with Israel could be reached "within a day or so".

They said "intensive talks" had been taking place but nothing is yet agreed.

Israel's Prime Minister claims the Israeli military is going to "unprecedented lengths" to prevent civilian casualties.

9 year-old Yara and 5 year-old Rula, are among the children killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza.
