The Irish Government has been urged to welcome up to 2,000 refugees from the country.
More than 18,000 people have been evacuated from Kabul - the capital of Afghanistan - in the last five days, with officials insisting efforts will double this weekend.

Here at home, the Government has been urged to welcome up to 2,000 refugees from Afghanisan...over ten times the amount it has promised.
The call came from the Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland.
Earlier this week the Government said up to 195 people will be able to come to the country, with full refugees status.
Bulelani Mfaco from the organisation - says at least they won't have to enter direct provision.
Three more Irish citizens have been safely evacuated from Afghanistan.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says there are still 35 people looking to board flights out of the country.
It hopes to facilitate more evacuations over the coming days, but warned that access to Kabul airport remains extremely difficult.
The United Nations is warning that the Afghans most at danger since the Taliban takeover have "no clear way out" of the country.
