Canine companions to help apprehensive children
A group of therapy dogs have been brought in to soothe children who are apprehensive about getting a Covid vaccine in California
Ollie, who is a six year old Golden Doodle, works at the Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego and his job is to comfort kids.
He and 14 of his canine companions have been helping children since they became eligible for the vaccines earlier this month.
The dogs were previously assigned to children recovering from surgery, but are temporarily re-assigned to the vaccination unit.
