28% increase in two days
Britain's Health Secretary revealed almost 3,000 cases of the Indian Covid-19 variant have been confirmed in the UK.
That's an increase of 28% on the figure announced two days ago.

Matt Hancock has advised MPs of the action government is taking.
The UK government has analysed things like waste water, to identify its spread.
Meanwhile, over 70% of UK adults have been vaccinated with a first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
