
Follows murder of Sarah Everard by former police officer
In the UK, plain-clothes police officers will video call a uniformed colleague to confirm their identity when stopping a lone woman.
It follows the murder of Sarah Everard by serving police officer, Wayne Couzens earlier this year.
The 33 year-old marketing executive was falsely arrested, then raped & murdered by Couzens.
48 year-old Couzens was sentenced to a whole life term for the killing.
