90 per cent of new Covid infections across the European Union by the end of August will be the Delta variant.
That's according to the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.
It's released an assessment on the Delta variant , saying it is 40 to 60 per cent more transmissible than the Alpha variant.

The ECDC says full vaccination of all groups at increased risk of severe Covid should be achieved as early as possible to reduce the risk of hospitalisations and death.
