Ukraine's President says his foreign partners will be responsible for a humanitarian catastrophe if they do not implement a no-fly zone over his country.
Poland had offered to help Kyiv better compete in the air by giving planes to America via a base in Germany, so they could be passed to the former Soviet state.
But Washington is concerned about sparking a direct conflict, contesting air-space with Russia.
