Zelenskyy Says His Country Remains "Invincible" On The First Anniversary Of The War Against Russia

Ukraine's president says his country remains "invincible" on the first anniversary of the war against Russia.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy says it's been 12 months of "pain, sorrow, faith and unity".

In a tweet, he says 2023 will be the "year of our victory".

He's expected to join a virtual meeting of G7 leaders this afternoon.

China, meanwhile, has unveiled a 12-point plan to bring the war to an end.

It's calling for a ceasefire, saying that "conflict and war benefit no one".

Last night the UN General Assembly backed a resolution calling for Russia withdraw its forces from Ukraine and end the conflict.

Vassily Nebenzya, the Russian Representative, defended his country:
