183 children were registered as homeless in the Mid-East in August 2024
Some 132 adults have been registered homeless in Kildare, according to the Department of Housing's Monthly Homelessness Report for August 2024.
This shows a decrease in numbers from July's figures, in which some 144 people in Kildare were registered homeless.
294 adults were registered homeless in Meath and 73 in Wicklow.
A total of 114 families in the Mid-East (Kildare, Meath and Wicklow) were accessing emergency accommodation in August, with 71 of those being single parent families.
183 children were registered as homeless in the Mid-East in August 2024.
