Both operations were mounted by Naas Roads Policing Unit.
Kildare Gardai have arrested two drivers, after both failed roadside drugs tests in separate operations.
Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped a driver on the N81 on Sunday.
They were an unaccompanied learner driver & they also tested positive for cannabis.
The motorist was arrested and their car seized.
Gardai say "Proceedings to follow."
Naas Roads Policing Unit were conducting speed checks on the Sallins By Pass when they detected this car travelling at 114kph in 80kph zone. The car was stopped & it was found that the driver had no license or insurance.

In a separate operation, Naas RPU stopped a car on the R410.
The driver had no insurance, driving license or tax.
The car was impounded.
The driver also tested positive for cannabis and was arrested for drug driving.

A car was detected almost 30 kilometres over the speed limit during an operation on the Sallins By Pass.
The car was stopped & it was found that the driver had no license or insurance.
The car was seized.
