Independent TD Cathal Berry is calling on work on the houses to be fast-tracked
Of the 99 military houses on the Curragh Camp, there are currently 62 houses lying completely vacant, while only 37 are lived in.
Tanaiste Michéal Martin has previously stated that he wants to see these houses brought back into use and that a process is in place.
Independent TD and former Deputy Commander of the Army Ranger Wing, Cathal Berry, says the vacant houses require a varying amount of work.
However, Deputy Berry says its important that work progresses at a faster rate, so that military families can live in them as soon as possible.
