A Tanker Is On Fire On The M9 At Junction 5, With Diversions Through Castledermot and Carlow

Diversions are in place.

A tanker is on fire on the M9.

To facilitate emergency operations, the northbound stretch has been temporarily closed at Junction 5 Tinryland.

Commuters are advised to detour through Carlow town and rejoin the M9 at Junction 4 Castledermot.

Detours are expected to last until approximately 10:30 am this morning.
