Aldi Invests €24m In New Naas Site As Part Of Strategic Growth Plan

The site is positioned close to the motorway network and in proximity to Aldi’s existing distribution centre and corporate headquarters.

Aldi Ireland has announced the completion of a €24 million investment in a new 60-acre site in Naas.

The retailer confirmed today that the site, located near Naas, is strategically positioned close to the motorway network and in proximity to Aldi’s existing distribution centre and corporate headquarters.

Over recent months, Aldi has strengthened its ties with local suppliers, signing contracts worth over €190 million with companies such as Dawn Meats, Irish Dog Foods, and Manor Farm.

The retailer also celebrated a decade-long partnership with FoodCloud, donating four million meals to the charity to date.

The company has reported higher sales figures for 2023 but lower profits for the year.

Its sales rose by 3.4% to €2.102 billion from €2.032 billion in 2022.

But its pre-tax profits for the year fell by 2.1% to €16.83m from €17.184m.
