IBTS recently had to import blood from the UK, as supplies of certain blood types were low.
A four day long blood donation drive continues in Naas today.
It is being hosted by the IBTS in Monread Community Centre, daily, until Thursday evening.
Donations are being accepted between 3.45pm and 8pm.
However, all donors must make appointments on 1850 731 137 before attending the clinic.
