The Celbridge ShareRings Skills group are encouraging people to get involved in their Arts and Crafts group.
The group meet in Celbridge Library on Monday morning's from 10.20am until 12.30pm.
Thursday March 10th of March marks the start of the Adult Learners Festival.
Paul Mullaly spoke about the art group based in Celbridge library: "We have a chat and we do a bit of art.
"We currently have seven in the group and are hoping to expand," he said.
Joanna Szlugaj- Zacharska, is all a member of the group, she says people can knit and paint "really they can do whatever they like."
She moved into Celbridge and joined the group because she didn't no many people in the area.
Joanna told KFM that she was welcomed into the group with open arms.
"The group is amazing because suddenly you are not alone," she said.
