Celbridge "Medium" Faces Trial For Company Law Violations

Each offence carries a potential penalty of a fine up to €50,000 or up to five years imprisonment.

A self-proclaimed medium and registered wedding solemniser from Celbridge who claims to be able to communicate with the dead has been charged with company law offences.

According to the Irish Independent, Tom Colton (48), a former rugby referee and accountant, faced a number of charges, including acting as a company director while disqualified and providing false information to the Registrar of Companies.

Each offence carries a potential penalty of a fine up to €50,000 or up to five years imprisonment.

Colton allegedly breached his disqualification by acting as director of Grá Agus Solas Unlimited Company.

He also signed a company filing with a false name.

The case has been sent forward for trial in Dublin Circuit Criminal Court in October.
