It follows the over-flowing of public bins in Sallins at the weekend.
A councillor says Kildare needs weekend bin collections, "full stop" and the county council will just have to "find the funding".
Over-flowing bins, and litter strewn around open areas, have been reported all over the county.
While there was outrage over scenes reported in Dublin, Cork, Galway and elsewhere.
Its highlighting the lack of bins, collection and cleaning services throughout Ireland.
Fianna Fail Cllr., Carmel Kelly, has been speaking to Kildare Today.
She says the litter collections in her home town, Sallins, are wholly inadequate.
