“No one was in bad form or anything," she said.
A woman who was in the penthouse suite of a hotel, when a colleague of hers claims she was raped by Conor McGregor, says she was surprised by the claim.
Danielle Kealey is giving evidence in a lawsuit brought by 35-year-old Nikita Hand, who has accused the MMA fighter, and another man, of raping her in December 2018.
She said she did not know Ms Hand very well, because she worked in the Naas salon, while Ms Hand worked in Goatstown.
After attending their work Christmas party in 2018, Danielle Kealey said she and Nikita Hand went to a hotel with Straffan resident Conor McGregor and James Lawrence.
Mr. Lawrence, of Rafter’s Road in Drimnagh, is the second named defendant, who also denies any wrongdoing; claiming he too had consensual sex with Ms. Hand.
Ms Kealey said everyone was in good form and that, at some point, she remembers Nikita and Conor McGregor going into the other room in the hotel together.
She said she didn’t know why they went into that room together, but when they came back out, she said everything was fine.
“No one was in bad form or anything," she said.
Later, she said she remembered saying goodbye to Nikita, and giving her a hug.
A few days later, she said she got a call from her to say she had been raped.
She said she was surprised and told her she hadn’t seen or heard anything.
